Jennifer van Koughnett is an advocate for community health and a proud resident of Carlsbad Springs. With a degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Jennifer has a passion to improve the well-being of her community.

Jennifer’s experience as a project manager has equipped her with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle the pressing issues facing our neighbourhoods. She has held many leadership positions over the years before taking a stop to enter politics. She believes in fostering an environment where every voice in both the town and rural areas is heard.

Her campaign, "Building a Brighter Future," focuses on transparency, community engagement, and strategic planning to address the challenges we face. Jennifer is dedicated to listening and bringing your issues to council, to prioritize public health, economic stability, and environmental stewardship.
